【摘要】:ThispartofISO10838specifiesrequirementsandtestmethodsforfull-end-load-resistantmechanicalpipe-jointingsystemsforconnecting,toeachotherortoametalpipeorfitting,polyethylene(PE)pipes,conformingtoISO4437,ofnominaloutsidediametergreaterthan63mm.Inaddition,itspecifiescertaingeneralpropertiesofthematerialfromwhichthesefittingsaremade.ThispartofISO10838specifiesdimensionalrequirementsfor,andtheperformanceof,suchassemblies.Itisapplicabletomechanicalfittingsinwhichallload-bearingelementsofthejointaremetal.TheyareintendedforusewithPEpipesdesignedforthesupplyofgaseousfuels,thesefittingsproducingeitherpermanentjointsorjointswhichcanbedismantled.Ifintendedforassemblywithametalpipeorfitting,suchconnectionsmayincludescrewthreads,compressionjoints,orflangedorweldedconnections.ThispartofISO10838isapplicableonlytomechanicalfittingswithnormaloperating-temperaturelimitsbetween-20℃and+40℃,unlessotherwiseagreedbetweeninterestedparties.ItisthepurposeofthispartofISO10838toprovideperformancerequirementsthatwillensurethatmechanicalpipe-jointingsystemswillprovidefullsealingandfullrestraintofthePEpipingsothatthePEpipingwillyieldratherthanpulloutofthemechanicaljointwhensubjectedtotensileforcesorpressure.
