【摘要】:ThistestmethodcoverstheuseoftheBrookfieldviscometerandalow-temperaturebathforthedeterminationofthelow-shear-rateviscosityoflubricants.Thetestmayoperateintheviscosityrangeof500to1000000mPas(cP).Thebath-controlledtemperatureisselectedwithintherangeof+5to-40C.ThetestmethodusestheSIunit,milliPascal-second(mPas),astheunitofviscosity.(1cP=1mPas).1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
