【摘要】:Rubberproducts,suchashydraulicsealsonaircraft,submarinehatchgaskets,andhydraulicbrakecups,maybeexposedtovaryingtemperatureextremes.Thistestmethodprovidesameansofdeterminingtheextenttowhichrecoveryfromcompressionatnormalambienttemperaturesisinhibiteduponreleaseofthecompressiveforceduringsubsequentexposureatlowtemperatures.1.1Thistestmethodcoversevaluationoftheabilityofvulcanizedrubbersthathavebeencompressedatroomtemperatureandthensubjectedtolowtemperature(airorcarbondioxideatmosphere),torecoverfromdeformationwhentakenfromtheclampingdevicewhilestillatthelowtemperature.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
