【摘要】:1.1Thispracticecoversacleaninganddescalingprocedureusefultoproducers,users,andfabricatorsofzirconiumandzirconiumalloysfortheremovalofordinaryshopsoils,oxides,andscalesresultingfromheattreatmentoperationsandforeignsubstancespresentassurfacecontaminants.1.2Itisnotintendedthattheseproceduresbecomemandatoryforremovalofanyoftheindicatedsoilsbutratherserveasaguidewhenzirconiumandzirconiumalloysarebeingprocessedinthewrought,cast,orfabricatedform.1.3Itistheintentthatthesesoilsberemovedpriortochemicalmilling,joining,plating,fabrication,andinanysituationwhereforeignsubstancesinterferewiththecorrosionresistance,stability,andqualityofthefinishedproduct.1.4Unlessasingleunitisused,forexample,solutionconcentrationsing/l,thevaluesstatedineitherinch-poundorSIunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemarenotexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemmustbeusedindependentlyoftheother.SIvaluescannotbemixedwithinch-poundvalues.ThetemperaturesinNotes1and2areexactequivalentsbecausetheyreflectdataobtainedfromaspecifictemperature.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Forspecifichazardstatements,seeSections2and6.
