【摘要】:Themethodsoutlinedinthisguidecanbeusedtoqualitativelyandquantitativelydescribethesensorycharacteristicsandperformanceoftriggerhardsurfacehouseholdcleaningproductsfornonporoussurfaces.Themethodsaresuitedfordescriptiveanalysisandmaybeadaptableforconsumeracceptanceresearch.Thisguideprovidestheprocedurefortheevaluationofpackage,application,performance,after-useandfragranceaspectsofhardsurfacecleaners.Dependingonthetestobjectives,allorsomeofthesemeasuresmaybeused.Thisguide,asdefinedbyASTM,isdesignedforuseforproductresearchguidanceinproductformulation,newproductdevelopment,andqualitycontrolissues.Thisguideisacompendiumofinformationorseriesofoptionsthatdoesnotrecommendaspecificcourseofaction.Thisguideisnotintendedforclaimsubstantiation,asithasnotbeensubjectedtovalidationtesting.Thisguideisforusebyindividualswhofamiliarizethemselveswiththeseproceduresandwhohavepreviousexperiencewithsensoryevaluations.Itissuggestedthattheindividualshavesomeexperiencewithdevelopingandtrainingadescriptivepanelorworkunderthesupervisionofasensoryprofessionalwhohas.Thisguidemightinvolvehazardousmaterials.Thisguidedoesnotclaimtoaddressallofthesafetyproblemsassociatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisguidetoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthypracticesandtodeterminetheapplicabilityoflimitationspriortouse.1.1Thisguidecoversguidelinesspecifictothesensoryevaluationoftriggerhardsurfacecleaners.Itcoverstheprocedureforpreparinganonporoussurfacewiththeintenttomeasureoneorallofthevariousaspectsofatriggerproduct:package,application,performance,after-useandfragrancecharacteristics.1.2Thisguideforpreparinganonporoussurfacemayalsobeusedtoassessothersensoryaspectsofatriggerhardsurfacecleaner,visual,tactile,fragrance,andperformanceorpackageergonomics.Itisapplicableforusewithhighlytrainedassessorsanddescriptivepanelsandcanbeusedforconsumeracceptanceevaluation.1.3Thisguideforpreparingnonporoushardsurfacesisintendedtofocusonsurfacepreparationandevaluation,notonpanelselection,training,ordevelopment.1.4Thereadershouldbeawarethatgoodsensorypracticesarerequiredwhenpreparingthesurfaces,andindevelopingandtrainingthepanelists.1.5Theresearcherisresponsibleforidentifyingthemostappropriatetestdesignandusingtheappropriatestatisticaltooltoaddressthatexperimentaldesign.1.6Sincethisguide'sintendeduseistoprovidedirectiononthepresentationandmeasurementofthedifferentaspectsofspraytriggerhardsurfacecleaners,thisguidemaynotaccuratelyrepresentallpossiblesoilsandsurfaceswherespraytriggerhardsurfacecleanersmaybeused.1.7Thisguideprovidessuggestedproceduresandisnotmeanttoexcludealternateproceduresthatmaybeeffectivelyusedtoprovidethesameresults.1.8Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesandtodeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatoryrequirementspriortouse.
